Prabhsimran Singh made 80 not out as Punjab Kings beat Mumbai Indians by seven wickets to continue their unbeaten start in the Indian Premier League. Chasing 196, Prabhsimran crashed 11 fours and two sixes in his 39-ball knock as Punjab won with 21 balls to spare. The opener put on 139 with Shreyas Iyer, who made 66 off 35 balls, for the third wicket.

The Punjab Kings are on a roll! They maintained their perfect start to the IPL season with a commanding seven-wicket victory over the Mumbai Indians, powered by a spectacular chase.

Facing a formidable target of 196, opener Prabhsimran Singh played the innings of his life, smashing an unbeaten 80 from just 39 balls. His explosive knock, featuring 11 fours and two sixes, ensured Punjab cruised home with a whopping 21 balls to spare, showcasing the kind of aggressive batting that defines modern T20 cricket.

The chase was anchored by a brilliant 139-run partnership for the third wicket. While Prabhsimran provided the fireworks, Shreyas Iyer played the perfect foil with a composed yet rapid 66 off 35 deliveries, dismantling the Mumbai bowling attack in tandem.

Mumbai's total was built around a magnificent century from Quinton de Kock. After an early stumble left them at 12-2, de Kock's unbeaten 112 from 60 balls, supported by Naman Dhir's 50, propelled them to 195-6. It was a world-class innings, but ultimately overshadowed by Punjab's relentless pursuit.

This statement win propels the Punjab Kings to the top of the IPL table with four wins from their first five matches (including one washout). For the struggling Mumbai Indians, who have only one win in five outings, it's back to the drawing board as they find themselves languishing near the bottom of the standings.
