Puka Nacua is present for the first day of the Los Angeles Rams' offseason workout program, according to local beat reporters. Nacua's attendance reaffirms his desire to turn a new leaf and halts any current questions of a potential holdout – or his rehab stint preventing him from participating in workouts and eventually OTAs.
Nacua has found himself in headlines for the wrong reasons since December. He has since apologized for his actions late last season, which included making an unintended anti-semetic gesture on a livestream and criticizing NFL officials.
Nacua is also facing a lawsuit over allegations that he bit a woman during a night out on New Year's Eve. Nacua has denied those allegations, and the temporary restraining order request has since been withdrawn.
Nacua recognized his bahavior and entered a rehabilitation program voluntarily, working to improve himself overall. Being present for the start of the offseason program is a positive step for the star receiver.
Nacua is entering the final season of his rookie contract and could sign a record-breaking extension with the Rams this offseason.
