Arsenal have done it. For just the second time in their storied history—and the first time in two decades—the Gunners are heading to the UEFA Champions League final. On 31st May in Budapest, they will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich, and the football world is buzzing.

The journey to the final was sealed with a gritty 1-0 victory over Atlético Madrid at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night. Bukayo Saka's decisive goal, following a tense 1-1 draw in the first leg in Madrid, sent Arsenal through. It's a testament to their resilience, but regardless of who they face next, the Gunners will step onto the pitch as the underdog—a role that has often brought out their best.

Meanwhile, the other semi-final is a thriller in its own right. Last week, PSG and Bayern Munich served up a nine-goal spectacle in Paris, with the reigning champions clinging to a slender 5-4 lead heading into the second leg in Bavaria on Wednesday night. The drama is far from over.

Ahead of that decisive clash, French international and Arsenal defender William Saliba was asked by Canal Plus which opponent he would prefer to meet in the final. His answer was measured but confident: "Whether it is Bayern or PSG, it will be very hard. At least we have won. We'll make the most of it tomorrow and be ready for the 31st May."

For Arsenal fans, the wait is almost over. Whether it's a clash with the German giants or the French powerhouses, one thing is certain: Budapest is about to witness a final for the ages.
