Harry Kane has labeled Paris Saint-Germain as "slight favourites" for the Champions League final against Arsenal, but the England captain expects a tightly contested showdown in Budapest.
The former Tottenham striker's hopes of European glory ended in heartbreak as Bayern Munich fell 6-5 on aggregate to Luis Enrique's formidable PSG side in the semi-finals. Despite scoring a late equalizer in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, Kane couldn't prevent Vincent Kompany's squad from overturning a 5-4 deficit from the first leg in Paris.
"It's really even," Kane admitted, reflecting on the upcoming final between the French champions and Arsenal on May 30. "They are two totally different teams in the way they play, but both are very strong. It will be an interesting final."
The 30-year-old striker acknowledged PSG's status as reigning champions gives them a slight edge, but he's not counting out Mikel Arteta's Gunners. "PSG, being champions, probably hold the right to be slight favourites, but overall, it will be two top teams going at it and it will be an even match."
When asked if he'd tune in to watch the final, Kane's disappointment was palpable. "I don't know. It depends where I am. Right now, I am just disappointed."
For football fans and kit enthusiasts alike, this clash promises to be a spectacle—two contrasting styles, two European giants, and one trophy that could define a season. Whether you're backing the Parisian flair or the Premier League grit, this final is set to deliver drama from the first whistle to the last.
