Portland St. Patrick Flexes Muscle
In a battle of Division 4 heavyweights, the No. 2-ranked Shamrocks made a statement by sweeping No. 10 Fowler in a critical CMAC doubleheader. Brady Leonard was nearly untouchable in the opener, striking out 10 while surrendering just one hit in an 11-1 victory. Sean Fedewa followed suit in the nightcap, allowing only two hits and fanning seven in a 10-0 shutout. At the plate, Jerryd Scheurer was a force, going a combined 4-for-4 with three RBIs and six runs scored. Charlie Thelen provided the pop in Game 2, lacing three doubles and driving in three runs.

Lansing Catholic Splits with GR West Catholic
Noah Jungwirth led the Cougars' charge with three hits, including two doubles and an RBI, as Lansing Catholic split a nonleague twinbill. Watson Ferreri added two hits and two RBIs, while Chase Moreno chipped in a double. The Cougars took Game 1 5-1 before falling 7-1 in the finale.

Lesley's Henry Bradford Puts on a Show
Henry Bradford was the star of the day for Leslie, going a perfect 7-for-7 across two games against Homer. His stat line was a thing of beauty: two doubles, a triple, a home run, and five RBIs. Oh, and he also pitched a complete game in the opener, striking out eight. Easton Hawkins contributed a triple, a home run, and three RBIs, while Tucker Newland earned the win in Game 2.

Owosso Sweeps Behind Strong Arms
Jackson Valasek and Jacob Moore each recorded eight strikeouts to lead the Trojans to a Flint Metro League sweep over Ortonville Brandon. Jacob Doyle collected three hits, while Cy Thompson, Ryan Maier, and Liam Patrick each added two hits apiece in the 5-3 and 9-2 victories.

Okemos Splits with White Lake Lakeland
Carter Haremski was a bright spot for the Wolves, finishing with three hits, including a double and a triple, plus an RBI in a nonleague split. Ryan Adams added two hits and a double, and Jimmy Pignataro tossed a complete-game shutout in Okemos' 6-0 Game 1 win. White Lake Lakeland bounced back to take the nightcap 10-4.

Ovid-Elsie Sweeps Behind Wiktorowski
Lance Wiktorowski was the difference-maker for the Marauders, earning the win in a 1-0 pitcher's duel before launching a home run and driving in four runs in a 16-6 Game 2 rout of New Lothrop. Trey Palatka went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to cap off the MMAC sweep.
