Monday's high school sports action in Greater Lansing delivered standout performances and decisive sweeps, headlined by Laingsburg's doubleheader victory over Bath and Okemos' perfect run through the CAAC Blue.
In baseball, the Laingsburg Wolfpack swept Bath with scores of 7-5 and 7-2. Everett Rodriguez led the charge in the opener, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, while Liam Esch powered the finale with a home run, double, and five RBIs. The Wolfpack's balanced attack kept Bath's defense on its heels all day.
Okemos completed an undefeated 12-0 mark in the CAAC Blue after sweeping Waverly, thanks to standout pitching from Xavier Sapotichne and Ray Smith, who each threw three-inning no-hitters. James Poletes was unstoppable at the plate, going 5-for-5 with two home runs, a double, and six RBIs. Smith and Jimmy Pignataro also homered for the Wolves, capping a dominant league campaign.
Leslie's Easton Hawkins put on a show with a 4-for-4 performance, including two doubles, a home run, and five RBIs, leading the Blackhawks to two wins over Manchester. Tucker Newland and Haden Norton earned victories on the mound, while Jon and Mike Swagart each collected two hits in the second game.

In tennis, the Raiders defeated St. Johns behind singles wins from Amari Adler, Kennedy Butler, and Reese Burns. Lulu Dash secured a win for the Redwings, rounding out a busy day of competition across the region.
