Tuesday night in Greater Lansing saw high school athletes delivering standout performances across the diamond and the pitch, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit of local prep sports.

On the soccer field, the Grand Ledge Comets secured a decisive CAAC Blue victory over Holt, powered by a two-goal performance from Sam Powers. Clare Powers added a goal and an assist, with Addie Cook also finding the net and Kaelyn Tess contributing an assist in a well-rounded team effort.

Baseball action was highlighted by Mason's dominant CAAC Red doubleheader sweep of St. Johns. Ryan Myers was a force in game one, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, four RBIs, and earning the win on the mound. In game two, Colton McCaleb picked up the victory while adding a double and a triple, with Logan Davis and Joseph Schild each chipping in two hits for the Bulldogs.

Okemos grabbed a nonleague win over Battle Creek Lakeview, 5-3, behind a strong pitching performance from Ray Smith and a save from Keagan Noble. The Wolves' offense was led by Noble, Jimmy Pignataro, and Gabe Hart, who each collected two hits and a double.

Williamston's bats were on fire in a CAAC Red sweep of Eastern, posting scores of 27-0 and 15-0. Brett Palmer and Kaleb Nielson each earned wins on the mound, while Grady Langdon had a monster game two, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, and three runs scored.

In softball, Laci Neal was dominant for Dansville, striking out 12 and allowing just one run in a complete-game effort to help her team split a nonleague doubleheader with Holt. Maddi Carter drove in three runs in the Game 2 victory for the Aggies.

DeWitt and Portland split a competitive nonleague softball twin bill. DeWitt's Tess Rypstra went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs scored in the opener, supported by Madeline Torrence's three hits and five RBIs. For Portland, Lilly Thelen and Rylee Miller each notched three hits in game two.

Finally, Mason's softball team completed a CAAC Red sweep over St. Johns behind winning pitching from Addison Marlan and Delaney Cutter. Trinity Dishaw led the offensive charge with three hits, a triple, and four RBIs, while Marlan helped her own cause with three hits and two RBIs.
