Ella Oswalt and Lizzie Shaffer were unhittable in the circle, each tossing five shutout innings to earn the wins. At the plate, Oswalt was a one-woman wrecking crew, collecting four hits, two home runs, and nine RBIs to lead the charge. The performance pushed Greenville to 20-1 overall and 14-0 in the Miami Valley League, putting them in a tie atop the standings with undefeated Troy.
All eyes are now on the highly anticipated MVL showdown between Greenville and Troy, set for Friday, May 1, at Greenville, followed by Monday, May 4, at Troy. It's a clash that could decide the league title.
In other action, Centerville swept Miamisburg in a doubleheader, winning 12-0 and 9-2. Luke Maciejewski and Ashton White combined for the shutout in game one, while Maciejewski went 4-for-4 at the plate in the nightcap. The Elks improved to 15-2 overall and 10-0 in the GWOC.
Fairborn's Dillon Efaw delivered a masterpiece, striking out eight in a complete-game no-hitter to beat Piqua 3-0. Owen Lauderman had two hits and scored two runs, while Westyn Williams drove in a run.
Troy's baseball team kept rolling with a 7-3 win over Stebbins, their seventh straight victory, improving to 15-1 overall and 12-1 in the MVL. In another blowout, Greenville's baseball team topped West Carrollton 14-4, powered by two RBIs each from Jiji Jim, Isaac Kerg, and Gibson Steyer.
Urbana got a big game from Grady Lantz, who homered and drove in five runs in a 10-5 win over Bellefontaine. Kevin Endres also went deep, and Urbana broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning.

Parkway staged a dramatic rally, scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat Elida 12-11. Addison Dailey singled in the game-winning run to cap the comeback.
