Days after officially coughing up the Premier League lead, Arsenal took it back with a win against Newcastle United, going three points clear while Manchester City – now with a game in hand – won its FA Cup semifinal on Saturday.

Eberechi Eze's spectacular goal was difference in the 1-0 win at the Emirates Stadium in London, getting the Gunners back on course after consecutive losses knocked them out of first place for the first time since October.

Arsenal will play another league match before City, giving the Gunners an opportunity to six points clear on their rivals – who will have two games in hand. Seeking its first domestic title in 22 years, Arsenal plays at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semifinals on Wednesday, before returning to Premier League action on Saturday, May 2.

Manchester City meanwhile, won't play again until the league run-in with Everton on May 4, and have another schedule change on the horizon with the FA Cup final set to replace City's fixture on the second-to-last weekend of the season

Here's a look at the state of the Premier League title race:

Manchester City: 70 points, +37 goal differential, 66 goals scored (33 games)

Manchester United: 58 points, +13 GD, 58 GS (33 games)

Liverpool: 58 points, +13 GD, 57 GS (34 games)
