Four different players scored for the Prowlers, who beat Blue Ridge in Game 3 to win the FPHL first round playoff series on Saturday, April 18.

The Port Huron Prowlers are on the prowl in the FPHL playoffs! Facing a decisive Game 3 on home ice, the team delivered a clutch performance to eliminate the Blue Ridge Bobcats with a 4-2 victory this past Saturday, advancing to the Commissioner's Cup semifinals.

Playing with playoff intensity at McMorran Arena, the Prowlers showcased a balanced offensive attack. After falling behind early to a Blue Ridge power-play goal, Port Huron found their footing in the second period. Lukas Lacny's gritty goal in front of the crease tied the game, setting the stage for a dramatic third period.

The final frame was a testament to the Prowlers' resilience. Bobby Price broke the 1-1 deadlock midway through, capitalizing on a loose puck to give Port Huron their first lead. The momentum swung firmly in their favor just two minutes later when Ryan Alexander found the back of the net, extending the lead to 3-1.

Blue Ridge fought back with a late goal to make it a one-score game, but their desperation pull of the goalie backfired. Player-coach Matt Graham sealed the series victory with an empty-net goal in the final minutes, sending the Prowlers into a semifinal showdown with the Binghamton Black Bears.

With four different goal scorers and a relentless team effort, the Prowlers have proven they are a force to be reckoned with this postseason. The hunt for the cup continues!
