Paris Saint-Germain are your 2025-26 Ligue 1 champions! The capital club sealed their 14th league title with a commanding 2-0 victory over season-long rivals Lens in a rescheduled Round 29 clash on Wednesday night.

While the match might have carried even more weight had it been played on its original date weeks ago, it still delivered the decisive moment in one of the most thrilling title races in recent French football history. For PSG, a draw would have been enough to clinch the crown, but Luis Enrique's men had other plans.

From the opening whistle, the visitors dominated possession with their full-strength attack, but Lens refused to back down. The home side pressed high and disrupted PSG's rhythm, with Matthieu Udol's dangerous crosses causing early problems—he nearly headed in a delivery from French full-back Przemysław Frankowski. Odsonne Édouard also tested Matvey Safonov with a close-range effort straight at the goalkeeper.

Just when Stade Bollaert was at its loudest, PSG struck. Ousmane Dembélé, who had been a constant menace, picked Malang Sarr's pocket and threaded a perfect pass to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian superstar made no mistake, beating World Cup hopeful Robin Risser with a delicate finish for his 10th goal in just 12 appearances—a strike that effectively sealed the title.

Safonov kept PSG in front with a string of saves, including a sharp stop on Sima's powerful shot early in the second half. Even with attacking reinforcements like Florian Thauvin and Allan Saint-Maximin introduced, Lens couldn't find a way back. The win was never in doubt for a PSG side that showed champion's resolve when it mattered most.
