The Detroit Pistons earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. They finished the regular season on Sunday night with a 133-121 win over the Indiana Pacers for a final record of 60-22.
The Pistons will play the No. 8 seed in the first round of the playoffs, and that series will begin at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday. The NBA Play-In Tournament, which runs Tuesday through Friday, will determine the Pistons' first-round opponent.
Teams that finish seventh through 10th in the Eastern Conference participate in the Play-In Tournament. Here are the matchups:
➤ The winner of the 7 vs. 8 game is the No. 7 seed in the playoffs.
➤ The loser of the 7 vs. 8 game plays the winner of the 9 vs. 10 game. The winner of that game is the No. 8 seed in the playoffs.
