The Detroit Pistons are staring elimination in the face. After blowing a late lead in Wednesday's Game 5 at home, the Pistons now head to Cleveland needing back-to-back wins to keep their playoff hopes alive.

It was a heartbreaking collapse for Detroit. Leading late in the fourth quarter, the Pistons saw the Cavaliers tie the game at 103 and then race out to a quick 4-0 lead in overtime. Cleveland never looked back, taking the game 117-113 and grabbing a 3-2 series lead in this Eastern Conference semifinal battle.

Rookie sensation Cade Cunningham did everything he could to keep Detroit in the fight, pouring in 39 points in the losing effort. But the Pistons' defense couldn't hold when it mattered most, leaving them with no margin for error.

Friday night's Game 6 is a do-or-die showdown at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. ET. If Detroit can steal a win on the road, the series would return to Motown for a winner-take-all Game 7.
