Windber's softball team unleashed an offensive explosion on Monday, routing Portage 16-5 in a nonconference matchup. The Ramblers' bats were on fire, led by Cameron Mash, who delivered a perfect 4-for-4 performance with three runs and two RBIs. The highlight of the day came from Rylee Baer, who launched a grand slam and finished with five RBIs, helping Windber pull away decisively. Emma Kelly and Sadie Pecze each added three hits, with Kelly homering and Pecze smacking two doubles, showcasing the team's formidable depth at the plate.

In a thrilling finish elsewhere, Bella Kist delivered a moment of pure drama for Westmont Hilltop, hitting a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh to secure a 5-4 victory over Richland. The undefeated Hilltoppers, now 7-0, also saw strong contributions from Abby Rozich and Sara Gibbons. Richland's Kallie Clawson put up a fight with a home run of her own, but it wasn't enough to stop Westmont's momentum.

Pitching prowess was on full display in Somerset, where Brooklyn Thomas led her team to a narrow 3-2 win over Bishop McCort Catholic. Thomas pitched a complete-game gem, allowing just four hits while striking out six. The game was decided in the bottom of the seventh when Elly Fletcher scored on a wild pitch. Bishop McCort's Lariah Myers was brilliant in defeat, striking out 15 batters and hitting a home run that briefly gave her team the lead.

United's Ella Worthington dominated in the circle and at the bat, striking out 13 and allowing only one hit—a solo homer—while also hitting a home run herself in a 12-1, five-inning win over Ferndale. Forest Hills also earned a decisive victory, with Rhory Whetstone throwing a three-hit shutout to beat Greater Johnstown 10-0 in five innings.

Rounding out the day's action, Conemaugh Valley improved to 7-1 behind Megan Bilak's 3-for-5, home-run performance in an 11-2 win over West Branch. Finally, Central Cambria's Kaydence Sinclair powered her team to a 7-2 victory over Chestnut Ridge, going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, three runs, and two RBIs.
