The stage is set for a thrilling South American Championship final as Brazil's U-17 Women's National Team prepares to face off against Argentina this Saturday (9). The highly anticipated match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. (Brasília time) at Defensores del Chaco Stadium in Asunción, Paraguay, and promises to be a showcase of young talent and fierce rivalry.

Ahead of the clash, midfielder Pepê exudes confidence and determination. "I believe it will be a very difficult match. We know the quality of the other team, just as we also know our own," she said. "We're going into this match very strong, especially because it's a final, so we're going to play our best football." The young star, who recently celebrated a penalty goal in the semifinal, added, "Playing in a final, competing for a title with the Brazil National Team is anyone's dream. I'm very happy that we're playing in this final."

Pepê brings a wealth of experience to the squad, having been called up to the national team 10 times. In 2025 alone, she played a key role in the South American Championship, finishing as runner-up, and also competed in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. As one of the most seasoned players on the team, she's embraced a leadership role, sharing her insights with younger teammates and helping them thrive under pressure.

"I give them a lot of confidence, so everyone can show their best, because if they're here, it's because they have huge potential," Pepê explained. "So I also share a bit of that experience from having played in a South American Championship and a World Cup, and knowing what it's like to represent the Brazil National Team." She credits the coaching staff for their trust and highlights the team's collective leadership, noting, "Me, Andreyna, and some of the other girls… We have many leaders within the group, and that's really nice."

With both teams hungry for glory, this final is set to be an unforgettable battle. Will Brazil's blend of experience and youthful energy be enough to overcome Argentina? Fans won't want to miss a moment of the action.
