Gian Piero Gasperini couldn't hide his joy, but kept his feet on the ground after Roma's stunning 2-3 comeback victory at Parma. The Giallorossi boss praised his team's fighting spirit while staying tight-lipped about Paulo Dybala's future, following the Argentine's hint that the upcoming derby could be his last home game for the club.

"It's very rare for me to turn a match around in stoppage time from 2-1 to 3-2," Gasperini told DAZN and Sky Sport, via RomaNews.eu. "This shows the heart these players have. For the first time, I didn't watch the penalty—I was looking at the crowd, but the scoreboard gave it away anyway."

When asked about Dybala's emotional statement that the derby might be his final home appearance, Gasperini played it cool. "He said that? Well, maybe, who knows," the coach responded with a wry smile. "He was excellent today, coming back from a long injury layoff and showing real quality. It's a shame we've missed him for so much of the season."

The spotlight, however, shifted to Donyell Malen, whose penalty proved to be the game-winner. Gasperini was full of praise for the Dutch forward's composure under pressure. "On the penalty, it was all about technique. Everyone expected Dybala to take it, and they tried to distract him, but he hit the post. Malen, though—he's a calm, reserved guy. He's integrated into the dressing room and been extraordinary. His motivation is incredible, and he's raised our level."

Gasperini also highlighted the growing depth of his squad, noting how substitutes are now making a real difference. "The fact that we can change games with the players coming off the bench shows we're more prepared," he said. "This team is maturing, and that's exactly what we need for the final stretch."

For Roma fans, this comeback win is more than just three points—it's a statement of resilience. And with the derby looming, all eyes will be on Dybala's next move, both on and off the pitch.
