Diego Coppola's impressive loan stint at Paris FC is coming to an end, with the 22-year-old Italian defender set to return to parent club Brighton & Hove Albion this summer. According to Le Parisien, there is a "99% chance" the move won't be made permanent, bringing the promising center-back back to the Premier League.

Coppola joined Paris FC during the January transfer window and quickly made his mark. The young Italian started 13 matches across all competitions, including 12 in Ligue 1, playing a crucial role in lifting the club out of the relegation zone. With two games left in the season, Paris FC's top-flight safety is now secured—a testament to Coppola's steady influence at the back.

His performances didn't go unnoticed on the international stage either. In March, Coppola earned a call-up to the Italian national team, highlighting his rapid development during this loan spell. Despite rumors of talks to make the move permanent, sources close to the player have confirmed that a return to the AMEX Stadium is all but certain.

Brighton fans will be eager to see what the future holds for Coppola, who remains under contract with the Seagulls until 2030. Whether he slots into the first-team picture or heads out on another loan, his time in Paris has proven he's ready for top-flight football. For now, it's back to the south coast of England for the Italian starlet.
