Carolina Panthers general manager Dan Morgan continues searching for roster help.
Two days after selecting seven players during the 2026 NFL Draft, Morgan collected the signatures of 11 undrafted free agents, bringing the offseason roster to 93, two over the limit. Foreign-born Maz Mwansa qualifies as an International Pathway Program participant, allowing the Panthers to carry 91 offseason players.
Look for Morgan to make a few moves before the rookie minicamp May 8-10.
Morgan landed the Panthers' 2026 UDFA headliner, former Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King, for a guaranteed $250,000 soon after the draft ended in Pittsburgh on Saturday. He continued to add talent throughout the next 48 hours, most recently agreeing to terms with Vanderbilt offensive lineman Isaia Glass, Wisconsin defensive tackle Parker Peterson and Mississippi State offensive tackle Albert Reese IV.
Among the Panthers' 11 UDFA signings, Morgan could expect at least two to contribute next season.
Five UDFAs forged significant roles with the Panthers over the past two seasons. Third-year wide receiver Jalen Coker is emerging as an NFL star.
Joining Coker, the Panthers' second-leading receiver last season, in the 2024 UDFA class was safety Demani Richardson, who helped fill in for an injury-depleted defense as a first-year player.
Last season, kicker Ryan Fitzgerald held down the kicking job as a rookie and linebacker Bam Martin-Smith became a special-teams regular. Cornerback Corey Thornton started to separate himself as a top reserve until an injury detoured his campaign.
