The 2026 MLB season is through five weeks. Following suit with previous seasons, this is the common point in the schedule where players break out of early-season slumps. Of course, certain players are continuing their outstanding production. This is what makes baseball the greatest sport in the world. Entering week six, here are the top 10 outfield rankings.
The elite talent is hitting his stride early in the season. Entering the week, he’s been near the top of MLB’s home run leaders. Wood’s eyes are set on surpassing his 31 home runs of a season ago.
Cruz is on an absolute tear. Entering the week, he’s close to reaching double-digit home runs and steals. If the production carries throughout the season, Oneil Cruz can have his first 30/30 season.
He’s cooled off a bit, but Andy Pages is having the best start early in the season. Entering the week, the outfielder leads the Dodgers in hits, RBI, batting average, and OBP. Given Los Angeles’ lineup, Pages is setting the tone for a tremendous season.
Moniak has found a home in Colorado. He made his MLB debut in 2020 before minor cups of coffee in 2021 and 2022. The young outfielder wasn’t ready for Major League pitching. Now 27 years old, Moniak looks comfortable making adjustments at the Major League level.
He’s still ironing out issues, but Judge’s power hasn’t struggled. He’s correcting issues that have caused a lack of contact and is nearing his breakout. When he does, Judge will see his average and OBP get in line with his career averages.
Trout’s healthy and staying on the field. Health has derailed what could have been the best career in MLB history. Assuming no setback, Trout can reach 30 home runs for the first time since 2022.
Seattle has started the season slower than expected, but Luke Raley has been one of the team’s bright spots. He’s in store for a career year if he stays healthy. The Mariners are built to contend for the American League pennant, and a healthy Raley will give the team’s odds a boost of reaching the World Series.
Corbin Carroll’s production has Arizona competing in the NL West. The Diamondbacks struggled last season, but that didn’t stop Carroll from having one of the best seasons in his career. Carroll can keep the team in playoff contention throughout the season.
Ryan O’Hearn is having a great start to the season, and he’s aided in Pittsburgh’s brilliant start for the first time in many years. The Pirates won games early in the previous season, but this year feels different. Continued production from O’Hearn will help lead the team to the postseason.
Entering the week, the veteran is having the best start to a season in his career. He’s hitting for a high average and getting on base at the best rate of any of his previous seasons. Arozarena’s success will aid in Seattle’s goal of a deep playoff run.
