The Orlando Magic's off-court efforts during the 2025-26 season positively impacted over 100,000 children in Central Florida through community programs and fundraising.

The Orlando Magic are making a significant impact far beyond the basketball court. During the 2025-26 season, the team's community outreach programs have positively influenced the lives of more than 100,000 children across Central Florida.

Each year, the Magic invest over $2 million into the region through ticket donations, autographed merchandise, sponsorships, and grants. The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) has now distributed more than $31 million to local nonprofits over the past 36 years. These funds support critical youth-focused initiatives, including education, housing, homelessness prevention, the arts, and health programs aimed at combating childhood obesity.

A standout moment this season was the Orlando Wine Festival & Auction, held on February 28 at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando. The event raised a record-breaking $2 million for OMYF, marking the first time it has surpassed that milestone. The sold-out gathering featured live and electronic auctions, live music, and culinary delights from local and celebrity chefs, along with wineries and food pavilions. Magic players, coaches, and members of the DeVos family were all in attendance.

"The family involvement is why my father started this—what he was all about," said Magic Chairman Dan DeVos. "He wanted a place where the family could get together, be together, have fun together, and work together."

The Magic also celebrated several players for their off-court contributions. Paolo Banchero, Anthony Black, Wendell Carter Jr., Franz Wagner, and Moe Wagner were named finalists for the 2025-26 Rich & Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award. Black, in particular, has been a standout in the community. Through his AB Cares Adopt-A-Family program, he supported families during the holidays, provided Christmas gifts for boys in the My Brother’s Keeper program, and assisted Orlando’s unhoused community. He also partnered with Planet Fitness to donate $10,000 to the Universal Boys & Girls Club and hosted a charity kickball tournament benefiting AB Cares initiatives.

"Big honor," Black said. "Just helping out is something that is important to me and my family. I know my teammates feel the same way."

These efforts show that for the Orlando Magic, winning isn't just about the final score—it's about building a stronger, healthier community for the next generation.
