To fill Mountcastle's immediate spot on the active roster, the Orioles turned to a versatile veteran, selecting the contract of Weston Wilson from Norfolk. The 31-year-old Wilson, who was hitting .195 in 12 Triple-A games, offers manager Brandon Hyde flexibility, as he can play virtually every position on the diamond.
