Oregon Ducks quarterback Dylan Raiola has been fully cleared after suffering a broke leg at the end of the 2025 season.

Oregon Ducks quarterback Dylan Raiola has received the green light, announcing he is fully cleared for all football activities after a challenging recovery from a broken leg suffered at the end of the 2025 season.

The injury occurred while Raiola was the starting quarterback for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, casting uncertainty over his immediate future. After entering the transfer portal, he landed in Eugene, where he is set to learn behind starter Dante Moore for the upcoming season.

In his first media session with Oregon, Raiola expressed profound gratitude for his recovery team. "I'm very, very grateful for all the trainers and people and everyone that went into that recovery," he said. "I feel great."

Despite the medical clearance, Raiola acknowledged the ongoing process of regaining his full physical confidence. He described the nuanced challenge of relearning fundamental movements, from walking to dropping back in the pocket, after an extended period of rehabilitation.

"Obviously, there's still things that I need to work through to kind of get back comfortable, like the balance of my feet," Raiola explained. "I mean, it's just so weird, like you gotta learn how to walk again, let alone take a drop and throw a football. So there's so many baby steps that go into it, but I'm grateful to be 100% fully cleared and moving forward."

This upcoming season presents a valuable opportunity for Raiola. While serving as the backup, he can focus on mastering Oregon's system and continuing to rebuild his strength and agility, positioning himself to potentially lead the Ducks' offense in the future.
