For Tottenham fans, the emotional rollercoaster of the last two seasons has been extreme. Last year's glorious Europa League triumph under Ange Postecoglou felt like a new dawn, but this season's brutal fight against relegation has been a stark reality check. In a special interview as part of OneFootball's collaboration with Shoot Music, lifelong Spurs fan and artist Scorcher shared his passionate, conflicted perspective on his club's wild journey.

Scorcher's connection to Spurs is in his blood. "I've been a fan since I was born," he says. "It wasn’t something I even knew you had a choice on until I was in my 20s." His earliest favourite memory? The iconic dive celebration from the legendary strike partnership of Jürgen Klinsmann and Teddy Sheringham—a moment of pure joy that defines football fandom for many.

That joy peaked with last season's European success, but the subsequent crash has been dramatic. Discussing the tough decision to part ways with the trophy-winning manager Postecoglou, Scorcher believes it was necessary. "I think so. The league form was unacceptable and he got to go out on a positive with his stock high, while we got a trophy." He acknowledges the current struggles are overshadowing that historic win, stating, "Yeah most definitely. I feel like this is the other side of chasing trophies. You can take your eye off the ball."

Now, all focus is on survival. With the club having moved on from long-term chairman Daniel Levy—whom Scorcher wryly nicknamed 'Danny Leeve'—hope rests on new manager Roberto De Zerbi. Scorcher is cautiously optimistic: "I think so. My hope is he gets enough of a new manager bounce to get us enough points to stay up. Thinking about RDZ with a pre-season is quite exciting in my opinion."

It's a story of extreme highs and lows, where the glory of a European night makes the grind of a relegation battle somehow worth enduring. For fans like Scorcher, the passion never fades, no matter the league position.
