His connection to the state runs deep, making this career move a full-circle moment. "I'm an Oklahoma kid. I was born here, raised here. That's my alma mater," he said, acknowledging his past at OU. "It's nothing but love there. But now, I'm employed by Oklahoma State, so I'm gonna give the Pokes everything I got."
