The Edmonton Oilers haven't had Leon Draisaitl in their lineup in more than a month.

They'd love to have their injured superstar back for Game 1 of their postseason on Monday, though.

This is what TSN's Ryan Rishaug posted on X on Sunday:

"Draisaitl flying around again today. Would be surprised if he’s not in tomorrow."

Clearly, the Oilers are a better team with Draisaitl playing. They didn't get a win this season in a game in which Connor McDavid didn't score a point, but adding Draisaitl to the mix at least gives them a major weapon when McDavid isn't on the ice -- or a big-time partner on the power play.

Draisaitl played in 65 games this season and had 97 points -- that included 35 goals and 62 assists.

Still just 30 years old, Draisaitl has 1,053 NHL points (434 goals and 619 assists).

He's been really great in his playoff career, too. Draisaitl has appeared in 96 playoff games and has scored 52 goals with 89 assists (141 points).

In each of the last three years, Draisaitl scored boule-digit playoff goals. And in each of the last two, Draisaitl also had more than 20 assists.

That's production that the Oilers need if they want to go on a run. And it's sounding like Draisaitl is just about ready to go.
