Spring ball is in the books, and the 2026 NFL draft has come and gone—which means it's the perfect time to take an early look at Ohio State's projected offensive depth chart. With 51 new players joining the program, predicting the two-deep is no small feat. But after watching spring reps and hearing which players are starting to turn heads, we have a much clearer picture than we did when the transfer portal closed.

Of course, things will likely shift again once fall camp rolls around and we see the results of a summer full of conditioning and behind-the-scenes development. But that's part of the fun. As always, we're ready to take a swing at it.

We'll start with the offense—our usual first stop—before diving into defense and special teams. Here's our post-spring projection for the Ohio State football depth chart.

Quarterback
This is Julian Sayin's job, plain and simple. After a year of development—and having already been a Heisman finalist—he makes this offense even more dangerous. Early reports highlight his improved command and leadership, and Buckeye fans are hoping that translates directly to the field. Tavien St. Clair is the heir apparent and locks down the No. 2 spot, likely the next future starter under center in Columbus.

Running Back
We didn't get to see much of the running backs this spring due to injuries, but Bo Jackson is the clear-cut starter. Behind him, expect West to handle the No. 2 role. The real intrigue lies in how the coaching staff will deploy the explosive Legend Bey, and where Florida transfer Ja'Kobi Jackson fits in with his experience. We'll need fall camp to get a better read on the rotation.

Wide Receiver
Starters: Jeremiah Smith, Brandon Inniss, Chris Henry Jr.
Backups: Devin McCuin, Kyle Parker, Brock Boyd

Look for Ohio State to go deeper into its receiver rotation this season than in years past. The sheer depth and playmaking ability are hard to ignore. Smith and Inniss are locks to start, but from there, it gets interesting—and that's a good problem to have for the Buckeyes' offense. Who grabs those next reps will be one of the most exciting storylines to watch.
