Ohio is making a name for itself in the world of disc golf, and it's not just because of the Buckeyes. According to player rankings from the popular disc golf tracking app UDisc, the state is home to some of the best courses on the planet—and the best part? Many of them are free to play.

UDisc, the go-to app for finding courses, navigating holes, and connecting with fellow players, has released its 2026 rankings for the top 10 disc golf courses in Ohio. The list also includes the 100 best courses in the nation and the world, and two Ohio courses have earned spots among the global elite.

Ohio State Parks, part of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, celebrated the news on social media on May 5, highlighting that three of the state's top 10 courses are within its park system. "With 432 courses statewide, that's another huge win for our award-winning state park system and the players who love these landscapes," the agency shared.

Disc golf has been on a meteoric rise, and Ohio is riding the wave. According to the Disc Golf Growth Report 2026, which uses UDisc data, annual participation has surged by 86% since 2020, with a staggering 21.2 million rounds recorded through the app. The sport's infrastructure is keeping pace, too: 1,138 new courses were added worldwide in 2025, bringing the global total to 17,287.

So, which Ohio courses are leading the charge? Here's the full list of the top 10 disc golf courses in Ohio for 2026, based on UDisc player ratings. Four of them are ranked nationally, and two have earned worldwide recognition.

1. Echo Valley at Hoffmann Reserve, Waynesville
About 40 miles northeast of Cincinnati, this course is a standout. It ranks No. 25 in the United States and No. 42 in the world.

2. Caesar Ford Park: Championship, Xenia
Located roughly 16 miles east of Dayton, this course lands at No. 62 in the U.S. and No. 89 globally.

5. Reazin Family DGC at Sycamore Trails Park, Miamisburg
