Tyler Reddick has now won five of the first nine races to open the 2026 NASCAR Cup season, passing Kyle Larson in the final seconds of Sunday's race at Kansas Speedway.
Chase Briscoe, who restarted 11th in overtime with four fresh tires, surged all the way up to third by the time the checkered flag flew.
Denny Hamlin led the way at the start of the final two-lap dash, but fell back to fourth in the chaos, while Bubba Wallace finished fifth.
All 37 starters finished the race, and there wasn't a single natural yellow until Cody Ware spun just moments away from the white flag.
Hamlin won Stage 1 while Larson won Stage 2 in Sunday's race, and Hamlin also led the most laps at 131. Reddick only led ten en route to the race win.
