Italian football sensation Samuele Inacio has committed his future to Borussia Dortmund, signing a contract extension that will keep him at the Bundesliga club until June 2029. The news comes just days after the 18-year-old striker netted his first senior goal for the team, marking a milestone moment in what promises to be a stellar career.

"I feel very comfortable at BVB and am proud to have made my Bundesliga debut at this great club," Inacio said in a statement. "The feeling of scoring my first goal in front of the Yellow Wall was incredible. I want to celebrate many more successful moments with my team, the club, and its incredible fans in the future."

The young Italian's breakthrough moment arrived last week during a thrilling 3-2 Bundesliga victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, where he found the back of the net in front of Dortmund's legendary home supporters. It was a fitting introduction to senior football for a player already being hailed as one of the brightest prospects in world football.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Lars Ricken didn't hold back in his praise for the teenager. "With his skills and potential, Samu is one of the greatest talents of his age group worldwide," Ricken said. "We are convinced that with his dedication and quality, he can develop into an exceptional player. He is an important part of our team's development, and that's why we are delighted that we have been able to secure his services on a long-term basis."

Born in Italy to former Atalanta striker Inacio Pià, the young forward holds a Brazilian passport and has already represented Italy at the U19 level, scoring on his debut in March. His football journey began in the Atalanta academy, but he made the move to Dortmund in 2024—a transfer that reportedly left the Serie A club less than pleased.

Atalanta's discontent has been palpable. In February, the club's directors notably declined to meet with their Dortmund counterparts during UEFA lunches before the Champions League knockout play-off matches, a clear signal of lingering tensions over the deal.

For Dortmund, securing Inacio's signature is a major coup. The club has built a reputation for developing young talent, and Inacio fits perfectly into that tradition. With his contract now running through 2029, the Black and Yellows have ensured that one of football's most exciting young stars will be wearing their famous colors for years to come.
