Borussia Dortmund have secured another bright young star for the future, officially handing German youth international Mussa Kaba his first professional contract with the club. The talented midfielder put pen to paper on a long-term deal this afternoon at BVB's training ground in Brackel, marking a significant milestone in his promising career.

Kaba, who has already represented Germany at the U-17 level, first joined the Dortmund family back in 2018 as an 11-year-old. Since then, he has steadily climbed through the club's renowned youth academy, developing his skills and footballing IQ along the way. His hard work paid off with six appearances for the U-23 team in the Regionalliga West, plus two starts in the prestigious Premier League International Cup—a tournament BVB went on to win in dramatic fashion, edging out Real Madrid 1-0 in Tuesday's final.

BVB sporting director Ole Book couldn't hide his excitement about Kaba's potential. "Mussa possesses enormous footballing abilities and an impressive physique," Book said. "With his potential, he is one of the greatest talents in German football. We believe he can make the leap into our professional squad."

But Dortmund's approach remains measured and patient. "However, we will also give him the necessary time along the way to develop," the 40-year-old executive added, signaling the club's commitment to nurturing Kaba's growth without rushing the process. For fans and collectors alike, this signing is a reminder that the next generation of football stars is already being shaped—and it's never too early to sport the gear of tomorrow's heroes.
