Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is turning a new page in its boys basketball program. The Fighting Irish have officially named Reggie Tucker as their new head coach for the 2026-2027 season, a move that signals a fresh start and renewed ambition for the school's athletic future.
Tucker arrives with an impressive resume. During his tenure as head coach at Cleveland High School from 2019 to 2025, he compiled a stellar 107-29 record, including a remarkable 33-1 season and three consecutive state postseason appearances. His track record of building winning programs and developing young talent made him a standout candidate in a competitive search process.
"The people and the vision at Notre Dame are what drew me to this opportunity," Tucker said in a statement. "I'm grateful and excited to lead young men and help them reach levels they may not achieve on their own while building strong relationships along the way. Notre Dame, a small private school with about 368 students in Chattanooga, has a proud tradition in athletics, particularly in football and basketball, and the hiring of Tucker underscores its commitment to competing at a high level.
