The 2026 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Blue-Gold spring game came down to a field goal.
Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman had players gather around kicker Spencer Porath to simulate extra pressure as he lined up for a 43-yard field goal that would win the offseason, offense vs. defense scrimmage.
Porath drilled it, which might give Irish fans hope, considering that the field-goal kicking game was shaky in 2025.
