Barcelona returned to the training pitch on Saturday, shifting focus from their midweek Champions League exit to the final stretch of the La Liga title race. After a couple of days off following the defeat to Atletico Madrid, manager Hansi Flick put his squad through their paces ahead of a crucial clash with Celta Vigo.
However, the session was missing two notable young talents. Midfielder Fermin Lopez and defender Marc Bernal were both absent as they continue their recoveries. Lopez, who suffered a facial injury requiring stitches after a collision with Atletico's Jan Musso, worked individually in the gym. Bernal, who has been sidelined with an ankle sprain, also missed out despite being named in the squad for the European fixture.
With the league title still within their grasp, Barcelona will be hoping both players can regain full fitness quickly. Their availability could be key as Flick's side looks to finish the season strongly and secure domestic silverware, making every training session and player's condition vital in the coming weeks.
