The International Cricket Council has maintained an unchanged list of match officials for the 2026-27 international season. Nitin Menon continues as the sole Indian on the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, while Javagal Srinath remains the only Indian in the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees. This decision reflects the consistency and high standards in international officiating.

The International Cricket Council has confirmed an unchanged lineup of match officials for the 2026-27 international season, with India's representation remaining steady at the highest level of the sport. Nitin Menon continues as the sole Indian on the prestigious ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, while former pace spearhead Javagal Srinath retains his spot as the only Indian in the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees.

This decision, announced on Monday, follows the ICC's annual review and a thorough assessment by the Umpire Selection Panel. Menon, who earned his place on the Elite Panel in 2020, has consistently impressed with his decision-making under pressure, maintaining India's presence among the world's top umpires. Srinath, a legendary figure in Indian cricket, continues to bring his vast experience to the match referee role, ensuring the game's standards remain high.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta praised the consistency of the officiating teams, stating that the retention reflects the "high standards that have come to define officiating at the international level." He highlighted the ability of these officials to "operate with clarity and confidence in high-pressure situations, across formats and conditions," offering assurance to players, teams, and fans alike.

The Umpire Selection Panel, which included ICC General Manager Wasim Khan, former English Premier League referee Mike Riley, former international umpire Peter Manuel, and former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar, reviewed performances from across the globe before deciding to maintain the current lineup. This stability underscores the depth of talent and reliability within international cricket's officiating ranks.

The full panels for the 2026-27 season feature a mix of seasoned veterans and consistent performers. The ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees includes Jeff Crowe, Ranjan Madugalle, Andrew Pycroft, Richie Richardson, and Javagal Srinath. Meanwhile, the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires comprises Kumar Dharmasena, Christopher Gaffaney, Adrian Holdstock, Richard Illingworth, and Nitin Menon, among others, ensuring world-class officiating across all formats.
