On Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers fell 107-97 to the Detroit Pistons, dropping to a 0-2 series deficit and putting the veteran guard under heavy scrutiny once again.

Nick Wright, host of First Things First, didn’t hold back. He took to social media to share a startling statistic that underscores Harden’s recurring postseason struggles. "Today was James Harden’s 182nd career playoff game. It was the 36th time he’s had 3 or fewer made field goals. Nearly 20% of his career playoff games," Wright posted. He added, "It was the 46th time that he’s had as many or more turnovers than made field goals. More than 25% of his career playoff games."

Those numbers hit hard, especially given Harden’s latest outing. The former MVP managed just 10 points in the loss, failing to connect from beyond the arc and shooting only 33% from two-point range. His inability to consistently attack the defense was glaring, and the offensive rhythm never clicked.

After the game, Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson stepped up to take the blame for Harden’s limited involvement in the second half. "He took two shots in the second half. I’ll put that on me… We’ve gotta look at it. We can’t have our Hall of Famer taking two shots in the second half," Atkinson said. (For the record, Harden actually attempted three field goals after halftime.)
