The NFL believes the Seattle Seahawks still have an elite roster after an offseason filled with changes.

When you win a Super Bowl, change is inevitable—and the Seattle Seahawks are no exception. After hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LX, the team entered an offseason of transition, saying goodbye to key contributors like Kenneth Walker III, Boye Mafe, Riq Woolen, and Coby Bryant. But rather than panic, General Manager John Schneider played it smart: he re-signed reliable pieces like Rashid Shaheed and Josh Jobe, then turned to the 2026 NFL Draft to inject fresh, young talent into the roster.

The result? According to NFL.com Lead Draft Writer Eric Edholm, the Seahawks still boast one of the most complete rosters in the league. In a recent ranking of the NFL's top 10 most complete teams, Seattle landed at No. 2—a testament to the front office's disciplined approach. "The defending champion Seahawks lost some free agents but didn't appear to put up a huge fight trying to keep most of them," Edholm noted. "Instead, the 'Hawks stayed prudent by locking up a few key pieces long term, including Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and perhaps even found a starting running back in the draft."

Edholm praised Seattle's "question-free" roster, highlighting a dominant defense and overall balance. "Top to bottom, there are as few questions with the Seahawks as there are with almost any roster in the league," he added. "They'll have a great chance to run it back, even in the fierce NFC West."

Indeed, Schneider's strategy was clear: rather than overpay for departing stars, he replaced Walker with the No. 32 overall pick, running back Jadarian Price, and secured Smith-Njigba's future. This financial flexibility also sets the stage to address quarterback Sam Darnold's contract next offseason. The only blemish? The division-rival Los Angeles Rams ranked No. 1 on Edholm's list, ensuring the NFC West will be a battleground once again. For Seahawks fans, the message is clear: the dynasty window remains wide open.
