Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft starts tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Despite the perception that this year’s class is weak, there is still plenty of talent available heading into Round 2.
Here are NJ Advance Media’s predictions for the second round:
Bisontis’ strong anchor and light feet make him a good pass protector. He will make San Francisco’s offensive line better.
Jacas plays with heavy hands and violence off the edge. Arizona needs that on defense.
Pregnon is a run-game mauler. He would make Bills running back James Cook very happy.
The Raiders must surround rookie quarterback Fernando Mendonza with better wideouts. Boston would be a good start.
New York’s defense needs a playmaking safety like McNeil-Warren. He forced three fumbles this past season. The Giants would start him at safety and bench third-year player Tyler Nubin.
Houston beefs up its interior defensive line with the massive McDonald. He defeats double-team blocks and closes down running lanes.
Parker is a well-rounded run defender and pass rusher. He would be a good complement to Myles Garrett.
Kansas City could believe that superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes can make Bell a star.
McCoy’s slide ends here. He’s a top-10 talent who has fallen due to injury concerns.
New Orleans takes the undersized Ponds to give its secondary an edge.
Bernard could become a reliable wide receiver for new Miami quarterback Malik Willis. He does everything well.
Hood fits New York’s man-coverage scheme perfectly. He’s physical and quick.
Baltimore gives Lamar Jackson a big wide receiver to target downfield.
Rodriguez’s instincts and playmaking ability would be a good fit in Tampa Bay’s defense.
Allen fills a massive need at linebacker for the Colts. He’s a strong, physical linebacker with good short-area quickness.
Louis thrives as a blitzer and is sticky in coverage. Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores will love him.
Young looks like the perfect Lion. He’s physical against the run.
Carolina gives quarterback Bryce Young another tall weapon.
