The 2026 NFL draft begins Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET with the first round. The Arizona Cardinals have the third overall pick and are the real start as to where the draft gets interesting.

As we have every year for the last decade, cohost Seth Cox and I did a mock draft of the first round of the draft on the newest episode of the podcast.

We predict a trade for the Cardinals, both making a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. One of us has the Cardinals landing quarterback Ty Simpson and the other does not.

Before we start the predictions, we talk a little bit about quarterback Jacoby Brissett and his desire for a new contract.

(1:00) Jacoby Brissett and picks Nos. 1-8 of mock draft

(25:12) Mock draft picks 9-16 (including the Cardinals' pick)

(1:02:38) Mock draft picks 25-32 (including another Cardinals pick)
