Could a familiar face be making a comeback to Kansas City? According to ESPN's Chiefs insider Nate Taylor, the odds are looking promising for Tyreek Hill to reunite with the team that drafted him. During a recent appearance on 96.5 The Fan, Taylor shared his prediction, stating there's a better-than-average chance Hill will be donning a Chiefs uniform for the 2026 season.
"I don't want to be hyperbolic or over the top, but I think there's like more than a 50 percent chance that he's in a Chiefs uniform," Taylor said. "I will put it at like 55 percent, maybe even 60." This insight comes after the Miami Dolphins released the 32-year-old wide receiver, saving $22.8 million against the salary cap as he recovers from a dislocated knee and torn ACL.
Hill's time in Miami was nothing short of spectacular. Over 54 games, he racked up 340 receptions, 4,733 receiving yards, and 28 total touchdowns. But it's his legacy in Kansas City that truly stands out. Hill won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs, earned a spot on the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team as a punt returner, and made Pro Bowl appearances every season during his tenure there.
With his rehab reportedly progressing well and a strong work ethic that Taylor praises, the possibility of Hill returning to where it all began has fans buzzing. Whether this reunion becomes a reality remains to be seen, but for now, the odds are definitely in the Chiefs' favor.
