The Dallas Cowboys have been working fast and furious to begin Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. With three selections in the fourth round, the War Room has been busy. At No. 112 the team took their first offensive player of the exercise, grabbing Penn State OT Drew Shelton. Two picks later they were back to the defense with CB Devin Moore out of Florida.
23 picks later and things were back to Christian Parker's group once again. For the second-straight pick, Dallas ventures into SEC territory, grabbing Alabama DE LT Overton. More than likely, Overton is going to slot into the clu's new 4i alignment along their three-man front.

The Cowboys signed a couple of free agent veterans to fill the role in Otito Ogbonnia and Jonathan Bullard, and that's who Overton will rotate with. Overton stands at 6-foot-3, 275 pounds and was a transfer from Texas A&M who features in run defense.
The Cowboys have one pick remaining in this draft, but will have to wait until the seventh round, No. 218, unless they trade away one of their future picks to get back into the fifth or sixth rounds.
