The two best running backs entering this year’s NFL Draft, were Notre Dame stars Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price. Love went to the Arizona Cardinals with the 3rd overall pick, but Jadarian Price had to wait a bit longer to hear his name called.
With the 32nd pick in the first round of the NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected Notre Dame running back, Jadarian Price.

There may not be a better running back in recent memory that steps into the NFL with as much production with so little tread worn. Price was the one that had his name called the most between him and Jeremiyah Love as freshmen in 2023, but as Love took over for Audric Estime in 2024, Price settled into that RB2 role (which was more like RB1B).
During his career at Notre Dame, Jadarian Price rushed the ball 280 times for 1682 yards (6.0 YPC) and scored 21 rushing touchdowns. He had a much smaller role in the passing game than Love, but he did catch 6 balls for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns last season.
The special sauce with Jadarian Price is what he brings to the special teams. Price returned 22 kickoffs for 794 yards (36.1) and 3 touchdowns. His dominance in the return game stems from his elite ability as a running back to read block and explode with his one step cuts.
Positional value aside, Price is absolutely a first round talent that the Seattle Seahawks got a deal on in this year’s NFL Draft.
