The Philadelphia Eagles are doing extensive research on arguably the best receiver in the draft. Devin Jackson of The Philadelphia Inquirer spoke with ASU wideout Jordyn Tyson at a girls' flag football camp, where Tyson mentioned he had top-30 visit with the Eagles.

At 6-2, 203 pounds, Tyson brings an appealing blend of size, burst, and playmaking ability that could allow him to excel at the pro level. However, a lingering hamstring injury kept him from participating in both the NFL Combine and Arizona State’s Pro Day.
Tyson held a private workout last Friday, and over 20 NFL teams attended, including the Eagles. According to reports, the workout solidified Tyson's status as a top-15 pick.

The Eagles, who hold the No. 23 overall pick, will have a need at receiver if the rumored A.J. Brown trade comes to fruition. GM Howie Roseman will likely need to trade up for Tyson if they hope to pair him with DeVonta Smith.
Over his final two collegiate seasons, Tyson recorded 136 receptions for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Learning from Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward helped unlock Tyson’s production and elevated his draft stock. He’s added size and improved his route running over the last two years, showing he can align at all three receiver spots. He occasionally rushes the route but has the short-area quickness and contested-catch toughness to find chain-moving grabs in high-leverage moments.
He’s not a blazer but has enough speed to work down the field. Also, he has the ball skills and body control to win above the rim with timing on 50/50 throws. Scouts say he puts in the time to absorb knowledge and hone his craft. A history of injuries might explain inconsistent competitiveness as a run blocker in 2025. The wiring, versatility and finishing talent point to a WR1 ceiling.
