The former Pro Bowl running back was Baltimore’s pick to announce its second-round pick at the 2026 NFL Draft on Friday, in hostile territory. Ingram, his son and a group of female flag football players were greeted by the Pittsburgh crowd with loud boos, which Ingram seemed more than ready for.
“This the hospitality y’all got for your boy?” Ingram asked. “Don’t worry, don’t worry, because on behalf of me, my son, these wonderful young ladies and all of Flock Nation, we got a special message for y’all, Pittsburgh.”
Ingram then hoisted his son up to the microphone and watched him yell, “Steelers still suck!” like a proud father. Ingram posted 1,317 rushing yards in his time with the Ravens, which coincided with Lamar Jackson’s first two full seasons as starter, and remains a popular figure in Baltimore.

We’ll give that a 7.5 out of 10 on the David Akers draft crowd antagonization scale. In case you need a reminder, here is what a 10 out of 10 looks like from the scale’s namesake.
However, it’s also not the worst thing a team has done to Pittsburgh this draft.
Ingram proceeded to recognize Maryland sanctioning girl’s flag football as a state championship sport, with support from the Ravens, then announced his team had selected Missouri edge rusher Zion Young with the 45th overall pick of the draft. Yahoo Sports had him as the No. 35 prospect on its combined big board, so we’ll call that solid value at a premium position for Baltimore.

Your prototypical Ravens pick. Young is heavy-handed and will wear on the opposition. Baltimore’s signing of Trey Hendrickson made getting someone who can stop the run critical for this defense. Young will also complement Mike Green.
Young earned first-team All-SEC honors last year, racking up 42 combined tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. He brings a 6-foot-6, 262 pound frame to the position with decent athleticism and a high motor.
And thanks to Ingram, Young got his first taste of the Ravens-Steelers rivalry earlier than usual.
