High school football schedules for the 2026 season are rolling out across the country, and New York—a true breeding ground for college prospects—is no exception. Several powerhouse programs are finalizing their fall slates, and one of the most anticipated belongs to Syracuse Christian Brothers Academy.
The Brothers recently unveiled their 2026 schedule, and the marquee matchup is a Sept. 3 showdown against New Rochelle (NY) Iona Preparatory School at the iconic JMA Wireless Dome. This game is sure to draw attention, especially after CBA capped off 2025 as one of the state's elite teams. They captured the NYSPHSAA Class AA championship with a commanding 41-12 victory over Saratoga Springs, cementing their status as a program on the rise.
Offensively, CBA returns one of New York's top quarterbacks in Class of 2027 standout Gradyn Dixon. In 2025, Dixon was nearly unstoppable, completing 124 of 176 passes (a stellar 70 percent) for 1,884 yards, 26 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. He also showcased his dual-threat ability, adding 236 rushing yards and seven scores on the ground. His top target, 2027 wide receiver Javon Edenfield, is also back after hauling in 35 passes for 610 yards and 11 touchdowns—making this offense one to watch.
