An era has ended on the sidelines in New York high school football. After a remarkable 19-year tenure with Ardsley High School, head coach Dan DiFalco has announced his decision to step down.

In a public letter released Friday, DiFalco made the emotional announcement, concluding a decade-long run as the Panthers' head coach, preceded by nine seasons as an assistant. "This is one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make," DiFalco stated, reflecting on his time with the program.
