High school football season is heating up across the country, and New York is no exception. The Bronxville Broncos, fresh off a dominant run to the NYSPHSAA Class C state championship, have officially released their 2026 schedule—and it's packed with must-watch matchups.

Coming off a perfect 12-0 season that landed them at No. 26 in the final 2025 New York High School Football Massey Rankings, the Broncos are looking to reload rather than rebuild. While they'll have to replace star senior running back Brian Formato—who rushed for a staggering 2,255 yards and 37 touchdowns last fall—there's plenty of reason for optimism. Rising junior quarterback Theo McMurray returns after throwing for 1,514 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2025, giving Bronxville a dynamic signal-caller to build around.

The fall slate kicks off with a practice at Thiells North Rockland on August 22, followed by a scrimmage at Rye on August 29. Then the real action begins. The Broncos open the regular season at home against Averill Park on September 5, before hosting Nanuet's Albertus Magnus on September 10. A TBD opponent awaits on September 19, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

From there, the schedule gets even tougher: a road trip to Dobbs Ferry on September 26, followed by home games against Valhalla (October 3) and a visit to Tuckahoe (October 10). The regular season closes with back-to-back home contests against Pleasantville (October 17) and Cold Spring's Haldane (October 24).
