New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh could not have been too pleased on Thursday night when his star wide receiver Malik Nabers appeared to openly question the team's first-round selections on Bleacher Report's livestream show.
Nabers wanted the Giants to take Ohio State safety Caleb Downs at No. 5, but general manager Joe Schoen opted for linebacker Arvell Reese, Downs' Buckeyes teammate, instead.
On Saturday, after the Giants made their final selections in the 2026 NFL draft, Harbaugh was asked his take on Nabers' actions.
John Harbaugh says he talked with Malik Nabers about his initial questions about No. 5 pick Arvell Reese and showed him usage plans. “We don’t get too worried about stuff as long as the person’s heart is in the right place. Say what you think." pic.twitter.com/g2RwvbYBEd

Harbaugh was a head coach in this league for 18 years and won a Super Bowl before taking the Giants' job this past January. He knows how to handle players and not let situations fester and become long-term problems.
The fact that Nabers' issues were addressed so quickly, directly, and professionally sets the tone for player behavior going forward.
