The New Orleans Saints have officially assigned jersey numbers to their eight-man 2026 draft class, and there's plenty of storylines for fans to follow. First-round pick Jordyn Tyson—the dynamic wide receiver out of Arizona State—will keep his college number, the rare and bold No. 0. He's not alone in sticking with familiar digits.
The Saints loaded up at receiver in this draft, and the newcomers are already making their mark. Bryce Lance from North Dakota State will rock No. 18, while LSU's Barion Brown takes No. 19. That's a solid trio of pass-catchers wearing numbers that could become fan favorites in the Superdome.
On defense, second-round pick Christen Miller—a powerful defensive tackle from Georgia—will wear No. 52, just like he did in Athens. Interestingly, his college teammate and longtime friend Oscar Delp, a third-round tight end, will sport No. 88. Delp's a blocking specialist with sneaky receiving upside, and that number has a classic tight end feel.
Offensive line help arrives in the form of fourth-round guard Jeremiah Wright from Auburn, who'll try out a new number: No. 65. In the later rounds, defensive backs TJ Hall (Iowa) and Lorenzo Styles Jr. (Ohio State) will wear No. 34 and No. 36, respectively.
We're still waiting on jersey numbers for the Saints' undrafted free agent signings, and as always, some players might switch numbers during training camp when preferred options open up. But for now, Tyson and Miller are locked in with their college numbers—so if you're eyeing a rookie jersey, those are safe bets to order now. The future of Saints football is taking shape, one number at a time.
