Rumors have been swirling since Rodgers, now 42, remains unsigned after his stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite the Steelers hiring head coach Mike McCarthy, the veteran QB hasn't inked a new deal, leaving fans to wonder what's next. Bourne added serious fuel to the fire with a Tuesday post on X, hinting that a reunion could be in the works.
But is a Rodgers-to-Arizona move actually realistic? The four-time MVP just wrapped up his 21st NFL season, and while his stats remain impressive for his age, retirement might be calling. After a legendary career featuring 10 Pro Bowl selections, Rodgers could be ready to close this chapter. However, if he does want to keep playing, the Cardinals might not be the ideal fit.
Arizona already has three quarterbacks on the roster: Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew, and rookie Carson Beck.
