On a perfect day for pitching, Neosho High School's Cooper Charlton authored a masterpiece. The Wildcats' starter was utterly dominant Tuesday, firing a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and just one walk to power a commanding 11-0, run-rule victory over Springfield Central.

Charlton's gem set the tone, but the Neosho offense provided more than enough support in a hurry. They broke the game open with a five-run explosion in the second inning, capitalizing on wild pitches, timely hitting, and aggressive baserunning. The onslaught continued in the third, as the Wildcats piled on five more runs to put the game completely out of reach.

Leading the charge at the plate was Wyatt Woodward, who delivered the biggest blow with a bases-clearing triple as part of a 2-for-3, four-RBI day. Drake Jennings also had a stellar performance, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored, showcasing the balanced attack behind Charlton's historic effort.
